Rector, Part Time

St. Matthew's is a small church in Johnstown, PA (40 members), seeking a part-time rector with expectations of becoming full time as we grow. Duties to include, but not limited to, conducting weekly worship services, participating in weekly Bible studies, staying current with diocesan matters, and ministering to members throughout the year, as well as in times of illness and death. 

St. Matthew’s Anglican Church is actively involved in our community but wants to become more involved in outreach ministries. 

Candidate should possess strong leadership skills and a desire to work with small groups. 

Johnstown offers amazing opportunities for outdoor activities as well as wonderful cultural experiences. You can expect reasonably priced housing and a low cost of living. The area’s health care facilities, school systems, community colleges, and a four-year university are bonuses to Johnstown living. 

Our church may be small in number, but we are large in love, faith, and spirit. We consider each other family and hold many activities and fundraisers throughout the year.
