Shepherd’s Heart Fellowship (SHF) is seeking a full-time rector. SHF is an Anglican church located in the Uptown area of Pittsburgh. SHF reaches out to bring help, hope, and the gospel to Pittsburgh and to the ends of the earth. SHF focuses on providing spiritual and material resources to the marginalized, vulnerable people in the Pittsburgh region. SHF has special ministries for men and women who are homeless, particularly homeless veterans.
We are seeking a rector who can lead a staff of 15 full-time and part-time people. The rector will be overseeing Sunday evening services, morning drop in center with daily Morning Prayer, as well as a transitional housing program for homeless veterans located in our church building. We are seeking a leader with experience leading an Anglican church. Being a veteran or having experience in ministering to veterans would be a plus. U.S. citizenship is required.
