Diocesan or Church Service:

“I have been serving the church since I graduated from college. I was a youth pastor for the first few years, a college and career lay leader throughout seminary and grad school, then “graduated” to ordained ministry in the 2000’s. Along the way, I taught a lot of adult Christian education courses. In addition to training pastors at Trinity, I assist at Church of the Ascension in Oakland and have led an Ascension community group in our home since 2014. I presently serve on the ACNA Committee for Catechesis and am vice-chair of the ACNA Society of Anglican Theologians.”

Personal Interests:

“I delight in hiking through hills and forests. I enjoy classical and modern music and the arts (including food!) of different cultures. I love the poetry of Gerard Manley Hopkins and the fiction of JRR Tolkien. And I’m a baseball fan, doing my best to root for the Pirates!”

Where I experience passion in ministry:

“I am compelled by Christ to the discipleship of Anglican believers of all ages and stages in our churches and families, that they will know the saving love of Christ and be equipped to proclaim His good news through word and deed in their communities. To that end, I am dedicated to raising up new pastors and lay leaders and planting new churches in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, as well as supporting and equipping our existing pastors and churches, so that every church will be a “school of faith” and a beacon of the saving love of Christ.”
